The objective of this competition is to propose ideas that help to reduce the problems that will be given to them which is also the theme of NACES. The participants are also encouraged to think critically on the issue. The essay will be submitted before the day of the competition in form of softcopy (via email).

The objectives of this competition are  to develop communication skills, problem solving skills and other soft skills of future chemical engineers. Each team is consists of 4 members . Each team is given 1 day to find the information, discussion, and presentation preparation.

To encourage the students to propose and present new effective techniques or methodologies that are able to reduce the problems given. The techniques of methodologies must be environmental friendly, energy and cost saving for a better future. All submissions from each university will compete and therefore will be presented for evaluation

To cultivate quick and multi-dimensional logical thinking and to develop public speaking skills while providing a platform for the exchange of intellectual idea. The topic will also generally discuss about current issues. The Debate Competition will be based on the Non-Parliamentary Debates structure.

To propose and present the methodologies technologies to minimize the problem given. The submitted video must fulfill the criteria. The video shall comprise of the values regarding the subject matter, threats that might be faced, as well as challenges and the probable solution towards it.

To design a plant that help to reduce the problem which comply the following aspects; environment, energy, economy, safety, health, and infrastructure. There is no restriction on type of plant, scale of the plant, or the technology use in the plant design. The plant design must be constructed on the cardboard platform.
